Meet the Instructors

Scott Wohl:  Owner/Operator/Instructor

Scott opened AC Driving School in 2014 after 18 years in law enforcement. Scott teaches classroom, drive sessions, and conducts State drive testings.  Scott was a youth soccer coach for 17 years has lead teams that range in age from 5 to 19 years old.

Greg Adelsbach: AC Driving School Instructor

Greg comes to AC Driving School after having lived in the valley for over 25 years.  He recently retired from law enforcement after 18 years of service with multiple agencies.  He has been a volunteer coach for both football and baseball at the varsity level at the local high schools.  He is happily married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Scott Coppess:  AC Driving School Drive Instructor

Scott Coppess is an author as well as a retired police officer/paramedic.  He spent 20 years in San Jose, CA working as a paramedic then as a police officer in Oakland, CA.  Scott also served Asotin County for 12 years as the under sheriff.  He has published a book about his law enforcement experiences on Amazon.com called Siren Song.

Charann Triplett: AC Driving School Drive Instructor

College educated single mom of two great kids.  I love to do outdoor activities like camping, kayaking, ride horses and rodeos.  I love to watch football.  I live on a small farm with lots of animals; horses, goats, dogs, cats, chickens, guinea fowl, a  4-H steer and a few frogs!

Shannon Hunt: AC Driving School Instructor

Shannon graduated from WSU with a degree in Elementary Education and proceeded to teach multiple grades and coach high school volleyball in the Vancouver, Washington area for the next twelve years.

Shannon  moved to Pullman in 2011 when she became the Volunteer Assistant Coach for WSU. In 2013 Shannon was elevated to WSU’s full-time assistant Volleyball coach, and has been a part of four consecutive NCAA births, including a Sweet Sixteen finish in 2018.

Angela Barbour: AC Driving School Instructor

Angie graduated from the University of Idaho in 1994 with a degree in Physical Education. She has taught and coached in Billings, MT, Corvallis, OR, Greeley, CO and Fayetteville, AR.  She recently moved back to the Palouse with her husband and three sons and will be teaching Driver’s Training along with being the new Varsity Girls’ Basketball Coach at Pullman High School.

Jeff Hardin:  AC Driving School Instructor

You may already recognize Jeff from his 35 years of volunteering with the Asotin County Fire District or from working in the LC Valley in the automotive industry for over 34 years.  He is active gardening, motorcycle riding, and working with the AC Driving School students.  Welcome Jeff!

Connor Albright: AC Driving School Office Staff

Connor comes to us as a graduate from Clarkston High School and attended Walla Walla Communtiy College.  You might see him around town as an avid sports fan.

Tricia Savolainen: AC Driving School Office Staff
